I have checked some websites but can%26#39;t really tell if they are selling dual (which aren%26#39;t as strong) or 220.
Suggestions for a store where I can order online? There are no beauty supply stores in LA that carry them.
Thanks

Conair, for one, make a large variety of dual voltage hair dryers. They%26#39;re available in drug stores, Walmart, Target, etc.
Conair does have a web site where you can buy online.
It%26#39;s not true that dual voltage hair dryers aren%26#39;t as strong. Typically, they will turn on only when switched to low - but low in Europe is just like High at home.

Also try Brookstone (web or store) and Shaper Image. I have had a Brookstone one for 12 years and it still works fine.

I believe your observation about dual voltage units do not seem as strong as a hairdryer made specifically for 220v.
Here is an online source but these are easily obtained in Paris as well at Monoprix, BHV, department stores, etc.

Yoy can buy it online or you can get one there at Darty of similar places. You will at the same time get the right prongs for the outlet.

I second the conair suggestion. You can certainly buy one in France also but they are 3 times the price.
