ETAP Hotel in Europe

I am traveling on a budget and plan to stay at the ETAP hotel in Nice, Paris, and Amsterdam. Has anyone stayed in any of these and if so, which one and how was the stay? I appreciate the input

I have stayed at the Etap in Honfleur. I think they are excellent for a budget Hotel option.

Your Etap room will be the same as any Etap, as Accor stick to a %26#39;Formula%26#39; once they have invented it.

There will be a double bed, with a single %26#39;bunk%26#39; across the top. There will be a wash basin in one corner of the room, and a televison positioned where you can see it from the bed.

There is a Shower %26#39;pod%26#39; and toilet %26#39;pod%26#39; ensuite in the room. There will be an area that you can hang clothes, but this is not enclosed like a warderobe.

Rooms are clean and pleasantly brightly decorated. Beds comfortable and linen fresh.

Personally I would skip the Etap breakfast, unless you don%26#39;t have any other option near the Hotel, compared to the breakfast offerings at the sister %26#39;Formule1%26#39; chan, the Etap breakky is less value!!

Other than that, it will depend on the actual Location of the Etap within the City you are visiting, as to how well it works out for you. The Honfleur Etap has a brilliant position, but in a larger city, you may find they are a bit more out-of-the-way of the %26#39;important%26#39; sights!

%26#39;Formule1%26#39; rooms are exactly the same, but lack the en-suite facilities, you have the use of communal toilets and showers in the corridor, but these are the same type of shower/toilet %26#39;pods%26#39; and are self cleaning, so hygine is good.
