I am planning a holiday in France in the second half of May. Do you think that it is a good time to travel? from climate %26amp; cost perspective?
Also, I will be travelling with my wife %26amp; 3 old kid. Can you suggest an itinerary which will be suitable for a child as well

May is an excellent time to travel in France.
Most 3 year olds are probably not particularly interested in specific travel itineraries. I recommend however:
- Taking sufficient play materials to occupy your child during travel and meal time; crayons, paper, books, or simple toys.
- Most children eat early in the evening, before many restaurants are open. Keep simple food items available for them: fruit, nuts, or juices.
- If you are traveling along the autoroute, allow time to stop and let you child play at many of the play areas provided at the reststops (aires).

Hi --
Take a selection of new books - ration them day by day - and use them only when you are actually traveling - then the trips become a treat because there will be a new book to be enjoyed.

When we were holidaying in France with young children, we used some of the big campsite companies - eurocamp, keycamp, canvasholidays (there are a few others). I%26#39;m not suggesting that you book with them, but their websites are a good source of English language information about family friendly destinations in France (not just culture-vulture museums and monuments).
May will be great!
