Beauvais Airport to Nimes by Train

Hello,

I am planning a trip to Uzes. I have a few questions:

1. I would like to find out how I can travel to Nimes from Beauvais Airport by train. Is there a train station at the airport can take me directly to Nimes?

2. How do I get to Uzes from Nimes train station, can I go by bus?

3. Can I go around Uzes without a car?

I hope someone can help to provide some information.

One of the not-so-minor details that you omitted in your inquiry was the scheduled arrival time at BVA. One of the alternatives to BVA woulf be a LCC flight to Marseilles..then TGV train onward to AVIGNON or NIMES.

From BVA...pretty much all roads to NIMES begin at PARIS-Gare de Lyon. There is SBCF-TER train service to PARIS-Gare du Nord from the SNCF train station in BEAUVAIS...but this requires that you take a regional bus from the irport, into BEAUVAIS station (approx 15 mins) and the train schedule may not suit. From Gare du Nord you would need to make your way %26#39;cross town to Gare de Lyon. There is no direct Metro connection between Gare du Nord and Gare de Lyon, so your choices will be either connecting Metro lignes, #65-MAIRIE D%26#39;AUBERVILLIERS/GARE DE LYON (heading in the direction of Gare de Lyon)public bus...or Taxi Parisian from the regular taxi stand at the station (approx 10€-12€).

Your best bet from BVA into central Paris will probably be the BUAUVAIS SHUTTLE bus-- www.aeroportbeauvais.com/bus.php?lang=eng --directly from outside your BVA arrival terminal, to its drop-off point near PORTE MAILLOT (nr: Blvd. Géneral Pershing %26amp; Ave. de la Porte des Ternes)in Paris. The BVA Shuttle fare is 13€ and the trip usually takes approx. 70 mins. From the BVA Shuttle drop-off point, you can either walk down the block to the PORTE MAILLOT Metro station and take the #1 Metro ligne (heading in the direction of Chateau de Vincennes) to GARE de LYON (20 mins)...or..take a TAXI PARISIAN from one of the nearby taxi stands (approx. 20€)...to make connection to your SNCF-TGV train onward to NIMES or AVIGNON

There is regional bus service between AVIGNON, NINES and UZES--
