My family is going on a last-minute trip to France in a few weeks (May 20 - Jun 11) and I%26#39;m stumped about what to do. We are two adults and two young boys (3 and 5).
I was thinking of heading south, to Provance and/or Nice. We would like sun, water, and interesting places to visit.... that%26#39;s it.
Any recommendations on the way to structure a trip like this, a week in Provance, a week in Nice?? Or should we branch out to Dordogne? And am I foolish to think I can find a villa(s) at this late date? Our requirements there are sleeps four and has an internet connection. And relatively well priced.
Please... any advice or recommendations on places to stay would be gratefully received!

Are you thinking of hiring a car? YOu%26#39;ll need to, with 3 children. If you have two weeks, I would spend one week on the riviera (Nice) and the other on the western size of Provence, maybe in Arles or St Remy.
