what about plestin les greves in summer? what to do?

The beaches are just outside the town, there are a few coves separated by rocky outcrops.

There are also a few bars, creperies, shops and restaurants. I seem to remember the markets are Sunday morning and Thursday evenings.

Look out for notices advertising festivals. July has the %26quot;Fete Saucisse%26quot; and at the end of August in the Pardon de St Barbe.

Nearby are two wonderful small towns:

Locquirec - on the coast just across the bay from Plestin.

Guerlesquin - inland from Plestin, very picturesque with %26quot;Marches Animes%26quot; in July and August where you can learn Breton dancing.

Nearby cities of Morlaix and Lannion plus the %26quot;Cote de Granit Rose%26quot; are within easy driving distance.
