There is a very good restuart i would recommend called Restaurant Le Voute Chez Lea. There food is very good and you get a nice relaxed area to dine and the customer service is first class. Definately worth going to.

I am meeting my friend in Lyon. We are two ladies in our early forties. Any decent wine bars or places where you can have a dance, not necessarily a disco.

I would recommend 3 places that matches your expectations :

- à KGB where you may enjoy a vodka in a good atmosphere and original : 2 rue des bons enfants (7è)

- La Marquise, it is a boat on the Rhône bank : 20 quai Augagneur

- New Orleans (older customers, jazz and rock music) : 15 quai Romain Rolland

Yes Bigmaggi there is a gay nightlife in Lyon! Concentrated in the Terreaux and Croix-Rousse bottom districts.

Bars:

- Cap opéra, near the Opera House, 2 place Louis Pradel

- L%26#39;Etoile Opéra, 26 rue de l%26#39;arbre sec

- Le Lax bar, 2 rue Coysevox

- F%26amp;G, 20 rue Terraille

- There are 2 or 3 nice bars rue de la pêcherie, not sure they are gay, but certainly gay friendly

Dance:

- United Café, 1 impasse de la pêcherie;

- Pinks, 38 rue de l%26#39;arbre sec
