I am planning to spend 3 or 4 days in Bordeaux in early July. Can someone recommend a good, inexpensive and reliable car hire company, please?
Also, I need advice on a good, clean, reasonably priced hotel in Bordeaux with car parking and easy access to the vineyards to the north.
Thanks
Gary

When clients ask me to arrange a car rental for them, I recommend a local company called Excelbis:
%26lt;http://www.excelbis.fr/index.php?lang=en%26gt;
Their rates are very reasonable, and their cars are clean, well-maintained and low-mileage.
For a hotel in Bordeaux with parking, try the Hotel Majestic:
%26lt;http://www.hotel-majestic.com/_gb%26gt;
It%26#39;s in the center of town with its own garage and is close to the river, along which runs a road which will take you out of the city and towards the route to the Médoc.

Thanks Mr Wineworks, that%26#39;s exactly the information I needed to hear. Thanks also for the prompt reply.
Am I right in thinking that you run a wine related business in Bordeaux? I am in the wine trade in Australia and planning to familiarize myself with both the left and right bank areas. I would be pleased to recieve information re your business privately.
