Are there parades all year?
If we go in September will there be parades or are they only in high season?
Thanks

No there are parades every day (except in very very bad weather).
In the main Disney park you will find the main parade at 4pm with interations at other times during the day.
In the Disney Studios throughout summer the parade has been cancelled in favour of a High School Musical show however it should be back in September.
This calendar is updated regularly and the September details should be there approx a month before http://www.dlrpmagic.com/calendar/

Thanks, didn%26#39;t want to miss the parades LOL

You won%26#39;t do - when you get your park maps (if staying in a Disney hotel on check in or from under Main Street station in DLP or just inside the Studios) there is a separate programme of events leaflet and that will have all the character meet and greet and parade details in.

I%26#39;m back home from DLP now... i want to live there!
Anyway, back on topic: I recommend that you arrive fora parade about 30minutes before it starts and plonk yourself down on the curb. Its a long time to wait but you%26#39;ll get a fantastic view and believe me you%26#39;ll not regret it.
Also, warning about High School Music parade: it only stops at 2 points (or at least the one i %26quot;almost saw%26quot; did) so if you dont wait at the right place you basically wont see it.
I was gutted about this, as me and my boyfriend waited about 40minutes for nothing because we bearly saw a thing :-( and it was on my birthday :-( that is my one complaint about the parks. So if you have eager kids, make sure you%26#39;re in the right place to see it.
Hope that%26#39;s some help xx

I agree about getting there in good time, especially if you have little children.
Best thing is to have a buggy with you and stand by a lamp post with you between the buggy and the lamp post then no one will get in front of your child. People seem to forget that the parade does actually move so it will eventually be in front of you and you wont miss a thing. Big telling offs by cast members if you walk onto the street as well :-)
Not ever caught the one in the studios, so cannot comment on that one

Hi we went in february and was staying where near by the maingates, where the stair for the train went, very good spot.

Also as the park closes on a night Mickey is on the platform at Main Street station waving goodbye to everyone so a good place to spot him (and yes I do wave at him much more than the kids do!!)

Oh Ruthiebabie
I wish I was in there now, but have to work.
Puha.

Don%26#39;t we all Mutter! My friend is going next week so given her lots of tips for a first timer.
My only consolation is I am going to the other place I hold dear (Gran Canaria) so will be enjoying the sunshine there.
Roll on winter as that is when we do the majority of our Disney trips.
