Any suggestions of good value (not necessarily dirt cheap) places to have lunch/dinner in Paris?

I think you are not going to hear from anyone unless you give budget and area. Also someone is bound to suggest using the %26quot;search: box. for instance put in %26quot;budget meals%26quot; or something like that and you will be refered to many threads as this is an oft asked question.
The only bad meal I had in Paris was one near Notre Dame but on Left Bank where the owner was on street%26quot;hawking %26quot; his resto. I knew it was a bad idea but companions said lets try it. Usually spent 15-25 euros except for crepes,asian take out and Baquette sandwiches which are cheap

I recommend really saving your money before your trip. Before my Paris trip, I basically ate ramen noodles everyday for a while. This allowed me to save a bit and splurge a little in Paris and my mouth was ready to eat! Miam Miam.
