is there a discount electrical retailer in paris?

There are two retailers in central Paris, Leroy Merlin (beside the Pompidou Center) and BHV (rue de Rivoli at rue du Temple) that have large electrical departments and sell at much lower prices than the small shops. If you%26#39;re willing to travel south out of Paris to Ivry-Sur-Seine, there are several commercial building materials distributors near the huge Leroy Merlin store on rue Bruneseau (at rue François Mitterrand) that sell electrical materials even cheaper.

What do you mean by %26quot;electrical retailer%26quot;? If you want to buy wiring, fuse boxes, switches, etc., a DIY store like Leroy Merlin (or Castorama, Bricorama or Monsieur Bricolage) is fine. BHV is great too - besides a good DIY department, they also carry fashion, computers, audio/video, make-up and perfume, kitchenware, furniture, etc.
But if you%26#39;re referring to audio/video, kitchen equipment and computers, you could have a look at one of the Darty stores in Paris. For computers, audio and video, there are also the FNAC stores (not very cheap, though) and Surcouf.
