Tips on transportation at Marriott's Village Ille de France

My wife and I are meeting my son in Paris, and are using our Interval International for a week%26#39;s lodging at the Marriot Village Ille de France. We plan to go into Paris most every day.

Is the best bet public transportation (bus to the train station, and the train into Paris) or rent a car? Three of us will be together most of the time...

We also are going to use 3 of our time share units at the Marriott in July (taking our family of 13). I%26#39;ve been to Paris before, and do NOT recommend driving into the city. We%26#39;ve talked with friends who also stayed at the Marriott%26#39;s Village d%26#39;lle-de-France, and they bought a weekly train pass. You need a passport sized photo of each of you to buy the passes. If you like Flea markets, there is a wonderful one not too far from downtown Paris that has everything from Sterling silver, antiques, artwork to %26#39;you name it%26#39;. If you have time, it%26#39;s worth spending a few hours there. E. D.

I own a Marriott time share and was thinking of going to France in the near future. I would appreciate it if you could email me back and tell me what you thought of the time share?

Thanks

My family and I just got back from Paris a li%26#39;l over 6 months ago. We stayed at Marriott Village Ille de France and we loved it. They had someone to clean from kitchen to bathroom everyday, reception desk are pleasant - they even called me at home to check if I need some transportation to get to their hotel. I%26#39;m happy about it.

Public transportation is easy. They have a shuttle to bring you to the train station by disneyland..every 15-20 min except you have to be back before 11:30pm if you%26#39;re coming from Paris.

We also rented a car which was convenient - a bit expensive but well worth it.

Have fun! you%26#39;ll love it!
