antibes lunch

we will be visiting antibes for a day in september and we are real foodies. Can you reccommend a rathe

r special place to have lunch while in antibes? sr. vagabond

The best place, and most talked about at the moment in Antibes is the Figuier de Saint Esprit, it has just changed hands and is now owned by Christian Morriset who was previously at the 2 michelin star %26#39;Juana%26#39; in Juan les Pins. It%26#39;s in a beautiful setting in the ancient Ramparts of the Old Town.

They don%26#39;t have their own website but you can google it to find out more.

If you book, then ask for a table in the courtyard.

I%26#39;ve tried the menu gastronomique with wine matching for each course which is quite special...
