beaches in villefranche

I was just wondering were all the beaches in VSM stony?

Yes and no! Yes they are but, from time to time, sand is brought in by lorry. We were there last spring when it was being delivered and spread by bulldozer. If you visit in summer there will certainly be a sandy beach but if you are there after a winter storm it might be stony.

Hello Buddy,

There is a small area which could, at a stretch, be called a beach at the western end of the village. There are, of course, a number of beaches on Cap Ferrat, the nearest a mile or so from Villefranche. In August the beaches on the cap are much less crowded than the main one in Villefranche

Bob: We found the famous (!)%26quot;secret%26quot; beach - Ugh! We did like both Beaulieu and Cap Ferrat. Even in summer, not really that busy.

Thanks for getting back to me. My boyfriend has given me free reign this year to pick anywhere for our holiday as long as there is sandy beaches!It looks like such a beautiful place. We will be there last week in June so hopefully the sand will have been delivered!

Walked the beach yeterday; was quite crowded as the weather was nice and sunny. Hope you have a 1 piece suit, almost a must for ladies to fit in (bottoms only). There were some stoney areas but lots of folks were laying there already, baking quite nicely. Not the kind of sand I%26#39;m used to seeing on the great Lakes around Ontario, but still looked enticing for sunbathers. Some were even into the water for a swim.

was in Villefranche 2/3 May and no sand then, but I am sure it will be there soon?
