Bed and Breakfast - Aix en Provence

We are a young couple in our early 60%26#39;s visiting Aix-en Provence in early Sept for five nights. We would love to find a really nice small hotel/guest house with en-suite room, terrace/balcony and garden (a pool would be nice). We do not hire a car so need to be near bus/train and also be able to walk to restuarants. We can afford to pay in region of 100 euros per night. Can anyone assist?

Many thanks.

See www.aixenprovencetourism.com for the tourist office website, which is great, very easy to use. I stayed in Le Mozart, but it aint got a pool. Ten minutes%26#39; walk from the middle of town, 20 from the bus station.

How are you getting to Aix? Did you know the local train is out of action this year while they upgrade the line? TGV or bus replacement instead. There are good bus connections to and from Aix, but they can be infrequent however for five nights you%26#39;ll probably stay put, yes?

Thanks for the info Chic, especially about the trains! Might change location, any suggestions for a good B %26amp; B in a coast town or village? We are flying in and out of Marseille and are planning to stay four nights actually in Marseille at a lovely B %26amp; B we used last year but looking for somewhere nice for our first five nights

J.
