We%26#39;re (2 of us) visiting Paris for 4 days in Oct and need a fairly cheap place to stay - around 100 Euros a night. Can anyone recommend anywhere - hope fully, 3 star, clean and comfortable and not too far away from the sights? We don%26#39;t mind Ibis style holtels or apartment rentals. THanks

three stars for 100 euros a night, anyone find such a place please let me know,,LOL
There are many decent 2 stars within that range 90-110 euros per night.
Apartment rentals are a good option, start checking out booking agencies for them, October is still a busy month so it is good to look at booking soon.
Any hotel or apt in the 1-7th arrondissmont is considered central, with 4,5, and 6th being my faves and the 7th would being in least ( of 1-7) central area.
If you are young or young at heart then the 4 and 5th are lively and filled with cafes etc.

Hi,
You would really be looking at a 2 star for that price. However star ratings are done differently in Paris so a 2 star may actually be a better hotel than a more pricey 3 star. The hotel de l%26#39;avre close to the Eiffel Tower would be within your range or the Hotel Jeanne D%26#39;Arc in the Marais district may also suit you. They both fit your requirements and have a lot of character.

I checked the prices for various Ibis and Timhotel properties for your dates and they were well above your range.
