mass in english

i know there is a church that does mass in english just can%26#39;t remember where??

I can%26#39;t help you there, but I did want to chime in and encourage you to attend a non-English-speaking mass if you have the time and inclination. We found sitting in Notre Dame and listening to familiar hymns sung in a language foreign to us to be one of the most incredibly beautiful and moving experiences of our trip.

Some years ago when I went to Paris with my father we found that in the porch or near the entrance of nearly every church in central Paris there was a notice giving the times of masses in all the churches. Where the mass was not in French the language was given.

thank you everyone - i was going to Paris next morning %26amp; my computer crashed so i never got to look at the replies!! I may go to St Joes nxt time.Have been to French services many times but my partner wanted one in english as he is not as confident with his French. We went to NotreDm when Pope JP died, very emotional.As it was we ended up in a French mass at St Genevieve du Mont(is that correct?)in 7th i think.It was lovely and also it was a confirmation service for a lot of people too.Thanks again for the advice everyone.
