metro travel in paris

My wife and I will be traveling from Frankfurt to Bordeaux in September by train. The connections list Frankfurt to Paris est then transfer by metro to Montparnasse station via the metro. As we are in our later years we are not keen on humping suitcases on the metro. How much would a taxi cab cost for the same journey? Can anyone help?

Have a look at this link. It%26#39;s a great website put out by the Taxi Parisien company. You can put in Point A to Point B...anywhere in Paris. It has the %26quot;usual suspects%26quot; to choose from in a dropdown menu, or you can put in a specific address.

Remember also, there is a 1E charge per bag in addition to the fare.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that, although the above website is in French, just click on %26quot;Estimer le prix et la duree d%26#39;une course%26quot; at the left. Even with no French skills, you can likely manage well enough.

That is a very interesting site.

The trip from Gare de l%26#39;Est to Gare Montparnasse is estimated at 16 to 22 euros, taking a Monday at 1100
