train trip around Nice

Hi,

I am thinking about spend half a day or one day to sit on a train to enjoy some great views.

There are several sightseeing trains available to reach places around Nice.

Which one has the best views along the route?

If I was doing this, I%26#39;d probably do a triangular trip from Nice to la Brigue or Tende, then back down to Ventimiglia on the coast in Italy, than back along the coast to Nice. That would give you hill and mountain views (although there are a lot of tunnels which stop you seeing out), and coastal views coming back.

Another popular choice would be to take the metre-gauge line up to Entrevaux and back (see the Nice-Digne PDF on the same link as above)
