Hello
Can anybody recommend a good B%26amp;B or similar in the champagne region? Will be visiting Mumm and at least one other winery during a 2 night stay next month.
Many thanks.

Tom Stevenson, Champagne specialist writer recommends an English-owned B%26amp;B called Le Vieux Cèdre in the village of Avize the Côte des Blancs south of Epernay - he writes on www.winetravelguides.com:
%26quot;This lovely big restored house on the Côte des Blancs has three rooms run as a chambres d%26#39;hôtes by Imogen Pierson, the English wife of Didier Whitaker. In addition to Didier being the chef de caves at a nearby cooperative, he farms his family’s vineyards, produces his own brand (Champagne Pierson Whitaker), and has even expanded into Hampshire, where he intends to produce high quality English sparkling wine.%26quot;
They don%26#39;t have a website, but you can contact them by email at champagnepiersonwhitaker@club-internet.fr
There are 3 bedrooms.
