Arrive Provence May 31 - Packing question

Sorry for another clothes/packing question, but would appreciate any thoughts. We will be in Paris May 25 through 29 of this year, and then in Provence, staying in Luberon area and Les Baux/St. Remy area May 29 through June 1. I know the basics to bring layers and I have a pair of closed-toe Merrell walking shoes I%26#39;ll bring (bit of a wedge heel, so still ok with skirts) as well as hiking shoes/boots (we%26#39;re going to Switzerland and also hiking in Provence). Question is - should I bring sandals at this time of year too? It seems it can get warmer in Provence, but maybe still too early for open-toed shoes or heels at night? Should I be bringing even sleeveless tops or shorts for Provence (I don%26#39;t think it%26#39;s that warm yet, but...)Thanks so much!

Who can predict the weather?? It was 9 degrees here (Bedoin Dept. Vaucluse) last Monday afternoon, grey, cloudy, with light rain. I%26#39;m still wearing a winter sweater today. Though better weather is in the forecast for the coming weekend. Fingers crossed.

Anyway, sandals are fine. Very popular in Provence. If you don%26#39;t want to bring them, buy them here. You%26#39;ll find a plethora of shoe stores with lovely sandals on offer. As to sleeveless tops and shorts. Really hard to say. I%26#39;d probably bring at least one of each.

Definitely bring sandals and summer clothes too. I%26#39;ve been to Provence in May/June five times, and only take the lightest of jackets and a pair of sandals. You might need an umbrella, but it%26#39;s not cold. You may need to cover up to avoid windburn too.
