My husband and I will be staying in Saint Germain from Wednesday to Saturday...I love trendy, modern, artsy one-of-a-kind clothing, jewelry, handbags (especially handbags!), and home goods. I know Paris is famous for its high end shops but if anyone knows of less expensive places that would be great. Any suggestions for where to go (preferably not a department store)? Thanks in advance!

Try the reduced price designer store %26quot;Le Mouton a Cinq Pattes%26quot;. It is right there on the Blvd. St. Germain. You will have to dig through bins of stuff, but you can get a really great find there...lots of high end and designer clothing for dirt cheap.
