We will need to fill up with petrol when we return to perpignan airport with the hire car. The nearest place looks like LeClerc in Avenue Languedoc? Is it easy to get from airport? Just planning in advance as it was first time in the area last year and we couldn%26#39;t find anywhere and it all got a bit panicky!!! Advice anyone?

The nearest place would be Carrefour Nord, on the road to Claira and Le Barcarès. Will you be coming through town ?

Thanks for that. We went there last year. However, this year we are eventually heading off on the N116 towards Prades.
Someone told us there is a LeClerc that sells petrol,or a petrol station near LeClerc just over the other side of the A9 in Avenue Languedoc?
This seems to be closer. If we have time we may head off to the OTHER Carrefour this is merely for shopping, but we won%26#39;t be able to go there on our return journey.

Yes, there is a petrol station at Leclerc but if you are coming from Prades, you%26#39;ll have to make a detour to find it - unless of course you want to cross the town.
You could get off the main road at Le Soler (8 km from Perpignan) : there is a petrol station at Intermarché. Then take D116 again to Perpignan and follow the signs indicating %26quot;airport%26quot;. You%26#39;ll avoid having to drive through town.
