Somewhere luxurious but family friendly for one night

Hi everyone

Arriving at St Malo by overnight ferry and our accommodation for the week at Morgat doesn%26#39;t start until the following day.

So... we%26#39;re looking for somewhere to stay for one night, between St Malo and Morgat. It doesn%26#39;t have to be immediately on route - we%26#39;re happy to explore a little.

Would like something special/luxurious, but not too stuffy that it won%26#39;t welcome toddlers.

Any suggestions?

Thanks a lot.

Hi, I don%26#39;t have any suggestions, but also am looking for accomodations in the area. We%26#39;re ferrying from Plymouth to Roscoff and looping back via St. Malo and Mt.St. Michele. and then Cherbourg to UK (ferry).

Appreciate any suggestions! Also willing to explore...with kids.

We always look first at www.logis-de-France.fr

These independently owned and usually family hotels offer a guaranteed level of accommodation and service. They are classified under the Official National system from 1* - 4/5* and also under the Logis logo 1 - 3 %26quot;chimneys%26quot;.

The website is easy to navigate by map and there is an English version -look for the Union flag.

We prefer a minimum of 2* and 2 chimney hotels; many have very good restaurants too!

Don%26#39;t miss out on exploring St Malo itself, its really a great twon, good beaches and thwe old walled twon is very interesting, good shops, restaurants and bars. Try the Hotel Elisabeth, which is inside the walled town.
