Cannes to Eze or Monaco

We%26#39;ll be on a cruise and in port only 1 day (cannes) Would like to take the train to Eze, Monaco, Nice. Any suggestions?

With just one day, you should probably stick to Nice and relax. Eze requires a bus ride, and Monaco doesn%26#39;t really have much to offer.

Why not just spend the day in Cannes. You%26#39;ll be pretty frustrated with only one day in Nice, once you get there, and Cannes is a town that has great beaches, some fun shopping, and quaintness to go along with relaxed strolling. Have a great trip!

It would be pushing it to do all three but, if the weather is clear, Eze is worth the trip. From Cannes get the train through to Eze Bord de Mer and the bus up up to the village. From Eze you can get the bus to Nice and then the train back to Cannes. All buses to and from Eze can be seen on eze-riviera.com

Three great places to visit - but with the time you will have I would stick to Cannes. Pretty town - great beaches, good restaurants. Shopping even if it is only window shopping in major designer outlets. Bit closer to Cannes and perhaps worth a visit is Juan-les-Pins/Antibes.

I agree that you will not have that much time, however, you could go to Villefranche which is right along the coast. It%26#39;s wonderful fishing village where you could enjoy the sights and great shopping and a coffee or glass of wine. The narrow, winding streets are lined with incredible buildings that were exactly what we wanted to see on our trip last week. And, you do not have to depend on a connecting bus like you do for Eze. (We actually liked it better than Eze. And, it was much easier!) Not sure if the 100 bus starts in Cannes, as we went from Nice. But, you can get the 100 from the main bus depot in Nice. Do not waste your time on Monaco. Very pretty, but it doesn%26#39;t really have any character. Enjoy!
