Paris Attitude

Has anyone had a good experience with an apartments company called Paris Attitude? Alternatively, are there any reliable apartment agents that are recommended.

The web site is:

http://www.parisattitude.com/

Thanks.

Hello Mag: At the top of your screen you will see a search button. If you type in %26#39;Paris Attitude%26#39; you will get all the posts regarding the agency. There are plenty.

Mag,

lodgis.com is good and nyhabitat.com is good also. However, their selection is a bit limited. The good thing about NY habit is that they are based in NY and you can call them and speak to in English. They are very prompt about getting back to you. Lodgis.com, they can take a bit of time to get back to you.

I am not sure how long you will stay in Paris. If you are talking about a month or more, I still have my landlord email addess. I can give that to you if you think it will be useful to you. The reason I am saying this- when you look through agent like lodgis esp for a month or longer, they will charge you a fat comission; something in the 4-5 hundred dollars depending on the units you want to rent. My landlord has a few units to rent out. If you rent directly through her, you can save some dough.

The unit I rented was in the 11, close to Pere Lachaise. I believe she has another in the 16th, and another somewhere else. Hope this helps.

Bon Voyage!

Mag,

I forgot to mention that I got mine through lodgis.com and they are good though a bit slow compared to NYhabitat.com.

Note that Paris Attitude has ridiculous booking fees.

I%26#39;ve seen many of the same apartments on other websites at the same rates without the booking fees.

If you see an apartment you like, try a web search for the address/street.

I did look at Paris attitude but choose instead vacationinparis.com. We rented apt #113 about 700sq.feet. It was neat as a pin, had private roof top garden and was two blocks from the metro station...reamur/sebasapol. It was safe and quiet right in the city. We just got back a week ago from there and we would stay in the same place again.

We are currently in Paris staying in a lovely apartment in the 9th. We used a company called Frenchy Rentals and Paula, the woman we dealt with was quick with replies and very professional. There is nothing like having a big space and your own cooking facilities.
