TGV booking problems

I am trying to book TGV from Paris to Avignon on 27 July 2008 returning 31 July. Despite trying to follow Morgan B%26#39;s advice I keep encountering errors trying to use SNCF website. Clicking on the british flag takes me to rail europe website and after I enter our to/from etc. it comes up with a blank error page. I seem to be able to get to a timetables screen on SCNF as long as I leave it all in French. I am concerned that I won%26#39;t be in France until 22 July so can%26#39;t collect the tickets until then but I can%26#39;t decipher all the terms and conditions in French.

I also looked at thalys.com but it will not let me select Avignon as a destination.

Any assistance will be appreciated plus any tips from other Aussies who have mastered this process or used another booking method would be great.

The instructions in the forum are outdated. I cant go back and edit them unfortunately and the updates get lost in all the replies. However , I made an inside page that I can update and it will tell you how to get around the issue you are talking about.

Just go here: tripadvisor.com/Travel-g187147-c3019/Paris:F…

Merci Morgan B! I used your instructions, no problems this time.

SNCF is battling Trenitalia as the most fouled up web site.

I did a test run for some tickets I plan to get later, and was given no option to print them, as I have done in the past.

What%26#39;s up with that?

glad to help assiefam5

franco, you cant print every fare at home and destinations outside of France are often not printable.
