Hotel with a very comfy bed?

Hello there we are planning our second trip to Paris it is a surprise date for me so I don%26#39;t know when but he asked me to get some suggestions on hotels. Who am I to argue with a surprise date to Paris.

We stayed at Hotel Muguet last time which we loved but did have some issues with the bed a bit too hard.We had a hard time sleeping everynight.

any suggestions for a hotel around the same price range with a Queen size bed or larger if possible we loved the 7th but anywhere new is good too.Looking forward to your suggestions.

Cheers!!

Hi Magic,

Everyone is so different. I thought my bed was very comfortable. I really slept well. (Hotel Muguet) I have slept in some beds at French B%26amp;B%26#39;s that were not only hard, they didn%26#39;t give you a decent pillow!

are you sure it was the bed, and not the rock hard pillow? I know everyone is different, but I%26#39;ve come to discover I can sleep in any hole of a hotel, or floor - as long as I have a down pillow! Before I get flamed by Europeans, I am definitely one of those Americans who equates European products with higher quality - but the pillows in France s-ck. Yes, I%26#39;m sure its some health thing that%26#39;s beneficial to the liver or whatever....

The best travel product I own is the medium sized down pillow they sell at Paragon. It stuffs into a bag that makes it smaller than a Coke can. It goes on every trip where I am not 100% sure of a down pillow option.

I really liked the Hotel Bastille Speria in the Marais/Bastille district and dont recall the bed being hard - and its %26quot;cheap%26quot; for Paris - but I was glad I byo%26#39;d the pillow. Another peeve is loud rattling air conditioners and theirs were new and quiet.

That is very true.... maybe I am better off asking for a room in the same type of style as the Muguet, but would like to try a new Hotel for this visit.

And maybe a little larger room size if possible.

Cheers!!

Magic,

Don%26#39;t try the Champ du Mars - smaller, smaller rooms - try a different area altogether next time

Dear Magic,

I found the beds at the Relais du Louvre, located in the 1st Arrond. and 1 block from the Seine and across the street from the Louvre (so it is well located) to be very comfortable. As with many Paris hotels, the room is small, but we were able to fit all our stuff in the closet and drawers, etc.

Bonne chance and bon voyage!
