Best way to get to St Exupery Airport from Lyon city center

Only-lyon? Others? My flight leaves at 11:00am on a Monday.

I%26#39;ve read that it%26#39;s about a 30 minute drive from the city center to the airport. I%26#39;ve read that there%26#39;s a shuttle bus that leaves from Part-Dieu train station and goes directly to the airport.

Here%26#39;s my questions:

1) How often to the buses depart? What do the buses look like,I mean, how whould I recognize them?

2) Assuming I need to be at the airport 2 hours before my flight (at 9am), how much travel time should I plan for, at that hour, in possible Monday morning traffic, and on a bus headed for St Exupery airport?

3) Let%26#39;s say I throw in the %26#39;budget%26#39; towel and opt for a taxi. Any idea what the tarif would be?

Thanks again

I should have given the web address for the Satobus when I replied to your earlier post.

Even has a picture of the bus and shows a detailed timetable with pick-up stops. You will also be able to figure out how early you need to depart to get your flight. It looks like about 45 min. from Part Dieu to St. Exupery. Still don%26#39;t know about the taxi.

Bon voyage

Thank you so much for forwarding the website to me. Perfect! Now I have to figure out a few other logistical issues from there. Since I land/depart in/from Lyon, this was most important.

Again, appreciate your help!
