hotel web site

hi everyone can anyone tell me the hotel web site for the Arvor and the challonge hotel in dinan .planing a trip there in june and by looking at the reviews they are both good hotels to stay in ,can anyone provide any more info to help me decide which one to stay in as i cant choose what one ,also can you recommend any nice typical french restaurent as there are so many to choose from.

It would seem as if the web site is either broken or is no more as I can’t find it either and I have used it in the past. I would really suggest giving them a ring. If it’s a problem, the front desk staff all seem to speak very good English and are very helpful.

Have only stayed at the Arvor and had a really nice time. Typical real French hotel with nothing flash and a very warm welcome.

As for a restaurant you are right there are really too many to choose from. You definitely pay for the location and always remembering that everyone’s taste is different and standards do change, I would recommend Auberge du Pelican (quite close to the Arvor) in Rue Haute Voie or The Cottage at the bottom of the cobbled road down to the port (Rue Petit Fort) but it’s best to book.

The website for Hotel Le Challonge is http://www.hotel-dinan.fr/ I posted a review of the Hotel Le Challonge on January 10, but I am not familiar with Hotel Arvor. I would highly recommend the Creperie Du Puits for lunch (their crepes put the well known ones at Mont St. Michel to shame), and we also enjoyed our dinner at L%26#39;Auberge du Pelican. Enjoy your stay~~Dinan is beautiful.
