We are travelling to Antibes fromNice Airport in August. Our five year old son has developed a pathological fear of road travel since a rather unpleasnt bout of travel sickness. Can we get a train connection to Antibes without having to rely on a bus?
Many thanks

You%26#39;d need to get over to the rail station in Nice somehow; it%26#39;s not very near the airport and so would be quite a long walk.

Nice St. Augustin is the closest train station to the airport, it%26#39;s a 15 minute walk from terminal 1. If you look on the Nice airport website you can find walking directions to it.
Here is the link to the train timetable,

Dear FirstLadyBush,
Thanks very much for the advice. The train timetable is now filed away with the passports and the airport website did indeed provide me with both step-by-step directions from Terminal 1 to the station, and a map. Our son is much relieved to know that he can avoid a bus or taxi journey.

My partner is arriving at the Nice airport at 1040 pm- is a train still available to go to Antibes? If not, how readily available are taxi%26#39;s at the airport? If there is a train - can we take a taxi to the train station? Thank you in advance for you help.

Hi there,
The Nice Airport website has some good information on transport.
If your partner is arriving on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday night or on a bank holiday, there is a night bus (1 euro) which leaves Terminal 1 at Nice airport at 11.30 pm and stops at Antibes

If not the trains are not so good late at night, so a taxi might be easier. This is the link :

I appreciate the fast reply, he is arriving on Thursday night, does not speak French. Travelling in from a flight in Canada, I just want him to settle in safely and comfortably. We emailed the Thalazur hotel to see if they have a shuttle service (but its not likely they do). Any advice I can get would be so great. Thank you.
