Transfer from CDG to Berkeley hotel

Hello!

I have a last-minute trip to Paris (partly business) and will be flying in to CDG on 5/15. I need to go from there to the Berkeley hotel in the Montparnasse area, and I was wondering what is the best way to do this. It%26#39;s my first time in Paris, I will be with my husband, and we will have one small suitcase each, but my husband is insisting on bringing his laptop along. After reading about safety in the RER (which I%26#39;m assuming is the metro system?) this is a bit of a concern, but I would much rather take the RER than a taxi for budget issues.

We will be in Paris for 2 nights (flying out on 5/17) and would also like to know what is the best RER pass to purchase for this time period, for enough rides around town (although I realize *enough* is relative).

Thank you very much in advance for your suggestions!

You could take the Air France Bus #4 to Montparnasse and then easily taxi or metro to your hotel. Perhaps even walk, depending on where your hotel is.

Here is the link for the Air France bus:

Thank you! I will look into that :)

Btw, for just two days, I%26#39;d buy carnets of tickets as you need them, not a pass. If the weather is nice, you%26#39;ll likely only need one, two at the most.

(A carnet is a packet of ten separate tickets, good for one ride each)
